Infant and Kinder Swim

Did you know that the Splash Factory offers Infant and Kinder Swim lessons from the age of 6 months?

 

Our fun and dynamic program is designed and implemented with the children in mind- activities are aimed at the physiological and psychological development level of the class participants.

 

Initially, little ones will be in a class with an adult carer helping them. As they develop through their swimming journey, they will reach the stage where they will go into a “ Big Kid” class- with no big person other than their instructor!

 

Our emphasis is on encouraging participation and introducing basic water safety skills, whilst enhancing and extending existing skills-students are assessed continuously and classes adjusted as required.

 

Our instructors are not only qualified in the Infant and Kinder Swim area, but are also experienced!

Learn to Swim

Our Learn to Swim program is available to anyone aged 4 years and over.

 

Splash Factory instructors will aim to develop a rapport with your child- ensuring that your child feels relaxed and welcome at their lesson.  This enables us to offer an environment that enables your child to learn and develop their basic swimming skills.

 

Our emphasis is on encouraging participation, whilst introducing basic water safety techniques and enhancing and extending existing skills-students are assessed continuously and classes adjusted as required.

 

 

Stroke Development

Is your child mobile in the water-yet their technique still requires work? Then our Stroke Development Program is the best option!

 

A sound technique will make swimming easier- our experienced and knowledgeable instructors will encourage your child to adjust  and develop their existing technique; until they are capable of holding a strong technique over longer distances and at faster paces.

Recreational Squad

So your child has been swimming for a while now….and they have developed a sound technique, can cope with an hour or so of swimming and are you wondering what next?

 

Our Recreational Squad may be the answer- aimed at those swimmers who want to be able to either

Private Lessons

Private lessons for all ages and abilities can be arranged through the Splash Factory (depending on pool space and instructor availability).

 

We are proud to be the only swim school locally able to offer lessons at both pool and beach venues; with instructors qualified in all aspects of Aquatic Education. The pool orientated lessons are held year round at one of our indoor venues; whereas the beach program is held through the warmer terms!

Schools

School based Aquatic Education at the Splash Factory The Splash Factory offers various Aquatic Education experiences and opportunities through our school-based program.

We are proud to be the only swim school locally able to offer lessons at both pool and beach venues; with instructors qualified in all aspects of Aquatic Education. The pool orientated lessons are held year round at one of our indoor venues; whereas the beach program is held through the warmer terms!
